A dated window and a birth year. Not one Tyrol sale.

Tyrol March family ski passes: dated windows, ski school separate

The March family lift deals that print in Tirol are named products with birth years and date windows. Ski school is a separate invoice. 2026/27 euros from official DE pages, or an honest blank.

The short answer

Here's the thing: there is no one Tyrol family pass for March. Two dated lift windows print for school-age children in March 2027: SkiWelt FamilienSkiWochen from 13 to 29 March (Ellmau to 4 April) and Ski Juwel Osterspecial from 13 March to 4 April. Both need a parent pass of three days or more. Zillertal does not add a March kids-free week for birth years 2012 to 2020. SuperSkiCard Familienbonus is an Austrian or German season-card proof rule. Ischgl under-10 free needs the VIP guest card. Lessons are a second invoice.

The March deal that matches the query

SkiWelt FamilienSkiWochen

Official windows 2026/27: 5 to 18 December 2026 and 13 to 29 March 2027. Ellmau keeps the family action through 4 April 2027.
One parent buys a SkiWelt pass of at least 3 days. Family children born 2011 to 2020 get that same period free. Born 2021 or later are already free all winter. Youth 2008 to 2010 still pay.
Family-week 3-day adult is EUR 207. Six days EUR 372. Seven days EUR 412.50. Child column prints gratis. Those adult euros match the Vorteils table, not a second discount on top.
Premium season is 19 December 2026 to 12 March 2027. A first-half March week still pays the premium child cell: 1-day EUR 40, 3-day EUR 115.

Trap: Reading "kids to 15 ski free from 3 days" as a year-round SkiWelt rule. Outside the printed windows, 2011 to 2020 pay.

The other dated March window

Ski Juwel Osterspecial

Official 13 March 2027 to 4 April 2027. At least one parent buys 3 days or more. Children up to 15 (ticket page: birth year 2011 and younger) ski free. Photo ID required.
tyrol.com still shows 14 March to 12 April 2026. Use the Ski Juwel page.
We have no live Alpbach resort URL. Name the product. Do not invent a page.

Trap: Booking from the tourism-portal dates and missing the 2027 window.

The valley week ticket, not a March kids-free week

Zillertaler Superskipass

Valid 4 December 2026 to 11 April 2027 across the four Zillertal areas including Hintertux. DE page: 546 km, 180 lifts. Passes up to 1.5 days are area-only.
Born after 1 January 2021 ride free with a paying supervising adult. Child tariff is 2012 to 2020. Youth 2008 to 2011. Photo ID required.
2026/27 1-day: adult EUR 82, youth 65.50, child 37. Six days: 399 / 319 / 179.50. Seven days: 458.50 / 366.50 / 206.50.
The English hero still shows last winter and older birth years. The DE page and the EN footnote win.

Trap: Assuming a school-age child in ski school rides free in March because "Zillertal kids ski free." That rule is the 2021 birth-year cohort, all season.

Season card. AT/DE family bonus, not a March week

SuperSkiCard Premium

23 regions, 10 October 2026 to 2 May 2027. Buy by 3 December 2026: adult EUR 1,049, child 499. From 4 December: 1,190 / 595.
Familienbonus: extra children or youth born 2008 or later get Premium free only when the two oldest children or youth buy Premium together.
Cashiers only. Current Austrian Familienbeihilfe or German Kindergeld. A U25 ticket does not count.

Trap: Buying SuperSkiCard for a one-week March trip to "get the kids free" without AT or DE proof. That bonus is not a visitor week ticket.

Under-10 free, guest card required, March is not Firn

Ischgl VIP

VIP covers 46 lifts in Ischgl/Samnaun and is only sold with an Ischgl or Mathon guest card.
Under 10 travel free with a parent on VIP. The child price is ages 10 to under 17.
Without that guest card, Silvretta under-8 free with a parent is the other printed rule. It is not the VIP under-10 rule.
Firn / VIP Specials are 26 November to 18 December 2026 and 3 April to 2 May 2027. March uses the ordinary VIP table. Six-day adult VIP is EUR 385. The operator says the July 2026 calculation can still move before you buy.

Trap: Booking cheaper lodging outside Ischgl/Mathon and expecting the free under-10 pass from a roundup.

Guest-card table, under-3 share, Easter high season

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis guest card and Jungfamilienticket

Without the guest card, official high-season 1-day is EUR 80.50 adult and EUR 52 child. One overnight in Serfaus, Fiss, or Ladis issues the cheaper table.
Born 2021 or later ride free. Child tariff is 2020 to 2012. Youth 2011 to 2008. Use the 2026/27 conditions page, not the hub years that still say 2025/26.
High season returns 20 to 29 March 2027. 13 to 19 March is shoulder. Easter week is not automatically cheap.
Jungfamilienticket: parents with a child under 3 share one adult-priced pass from 3 days, main cashiers only, handoff in the valley. Both parents on snow at once need two tickets.

Trap: Treating late March as shoulder everywhere, or treating the Jungfamilienticket as ski school.

What each product actually does in March

Product	March 2027 window	Who rides free	Fence
SkiWelt FamilienSkiWochen	13 to 29 March (Ellmau to 4 April)	Born 2011 to 2020, same period as a parent 3+ day pass. Born 2021+ already free.	Not premium 19 Dec to 12 March. Super Ski Card excluded.
Ski Juwel Osterspecial	13 March to 4 April	Children to 15 (birth year 2011 and younger) with a parent 3+ day pass.	No Snowthere Alpbach URL. Photo ID.
Zillertaler Superskipass	Season runs to 11 April. No extra March kids week.	Born after 1 January 2021 with a paying adult. Child 2012 to 2020 still pays.	Prefer the German birth years. EN hero is stale.
SuperSkiCard Premium	Season card 10 Oct to 2 May, not a week ticket.	Third and later children/youth born 2008+ only via Familienbonus.	Two oldest kids buy Premium. AT or DE proof. Cashiers only.
Ischgl VIP	Ordinary VIP table in March. Firn starts 3 April.	Under 10 with a parent on VIP.	Ischgl or Mathon guest card. Silvretta without the card is under 8.
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis	Shoulder 13 to 19 March. High season 20 to 29 March.	Born 2021+. Jungfamilienticket shares one adult pass for under 3.	Guest card from a local night. Handoff in the valley.

Euros and birth years are 2026/27 official DE pages fetched 19 September 2026. Warth 2026/27 local day rates stay blank. Lesson euros stay blank. Confirm the cart before you pay.

See the SkiWelt and Tirol March family-week lift deals visually, using the numbers already on this page: Tyrol in March With Kids in Ski School: Which Family Lift Deals Are Real?

Ski school is not on the pass

Real talk: the GSC query glues “kids in ski school” to the lift deal. Official pages do not. Beginner groups at the named Mayrhofen schools start Sunday or Monday. Book the school, then buy the window.

SMT Mayrhofen

Official kids course is from 4. Beginners start Sunday and Monday. Four hours a day. Lift tickets are not in the course price. The euros on that page have no 2026/27 stamp, so we are not printing them.

Snowsports Mayrhofen

Official group kids course is from 5 (target 5 to 12). Beginners start Sunday or Monday. Same rule: no season stamp on the euros, so the age and the start days ship and the price stays blank.

The 141 we already hold

Of 141 resorts where we hold a verified ski-school starting age, 86 start at 3, 33 at 4, and 12 as young as 2. That is a published distribution, not a live recount of every Tirol school. Confirm the named school for your week.

Snow and crowds without invented percentages

Premium March is still premium

SkiWelt prints 13 March 2027 as the start of Vorteils-Saison and of FamilienSkiWochen. The first half of March is still the EUR 79.50 / 40 day table. We will not invent a snow percentage to decorate that.

Easter week can be high season again

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis returns to high season 20 to 29 March 2027 after a one-week shoulder. "March is quiet" is not a calendar.

The glacier is on the Zillertal pass, not a snow depth

The official Superskipass includes Ski- und Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000. That is a snow-hedge product name. It is not a centimetre we measured. Our Hintertux resort URL is noindex, so this page does not link it.

Mayrhofen the village is noindex here

Live Mayrhofen, Zillertal Arena, and Hintertux Glacier resort pages are noindex, follow. The indexable Zillertal comparison guide is the out. We still name SMT and Snowsports because those are the official school pages we fetched.

Warth has no March kids-free week we can print

Official 2026/27 Warth and Ski Arlberg local euros are still being finalized. The product split (local ticket is not Ski Arlberg) is a different page. Do not treat Arlberg as the Tirol March family sale.

Before you pay

Write the child birth year on a scrap of paper. Austrian tables are Jahrgang, not "age on Saturday."
If you want SkiWelt school-age kids free, sit inside 13 to 29 March 2027 (Ellmau can run to 4 April) and buy a parent 3-day or longer SkiWelt pass. First-half March still pays.
If you want Ski Juwel kids to 15 free, sit inside 13 March to 4 April 2027 and buy a parent 3-day or longer. Ignore the 2026 dates on tyrol.com.
If you sleep in the Zillertal, the Super Ski Pass zeros born-after-1-January-2021 only. A child born 2012 to 2020 pays the child cell in March.
Book the named ski school before you treat the lift deal as the week. SMT groups from 4, Snowsports from 5, beginners Sunday or Monday. Lesson euros stay blank until the school stamps a season.
SuperSkiCard Familienbonus needs Austrian family allowance or German child benefit at a cable-car desk. Ischgl under-10 needs the Ischgl or Mathon guest card. Those are not the March window.

Questions parents actually ask

Are there good deals on family ski passes in Tirol for March with kids in ski school?

Two dated lift windows print for school-age children: SkiWelt FamilienSkiWochen 13 to 29 March 2027 (Ellmau to 4 April) and Ski Juwel Osterspecial 13 March to 4 April 2027. Both need a parent 3-day or longer pass. Ski school is a separate booking and a separate invoice. Zillertal does not add a March kids-free week for birth years 2012 to 2020.

Do SkiWelt kids ski free all winter if a parent buys three days?

No. Official 2026/27 FamilienSkiWochen are 5 to 18 December 2026 and 13 to 29 March 2027. Outside those dates, children born 2011 to 2020 pay the child cell. Born 2021 or later are free all season.

What age can kids start ski school in the Zillertal in March?

There is no valley age. SMT Mayrhofen prints groups from 4. Snowsports Mayrhofen prints groups from 5. Beginners at both start Sunday or Monday. Of 141 resorts where we already hold a starting age, 86 start at 3. Confirm the named school for your week. We are not printing unlabelled lesson euros.

Is SuperSkiCard the cheap family pass for a March week?

It is a season card for up to 23 regions, 10 October 2026 to 2 May 2027. The Familienbonus is free Premium for extra children or youth born 2008 or later only when the two oldest children or youth buy Premium, only at a cashier, only with Austrian family allowance or German child benefit. A one-week visitor without that proof should not buy it to "get the kids free."

Do children under 10 ski free in Ischgl in March?

On the VIP tariff, yes, with a parent, if you hold an Ischgl or Mathon guest card. March is not Firn. Firn / VIP Specials start 3 April 2027. Without the guest card, the printed free rule is Silvretta under 8, not under 10.

Is March quieter and cheaper everywhere in Tirol?

SkiWelt cuts to Vorteils rates on 13 March 2027 and runs the family weeks then. Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is shoulder 13 to 19 March and high season again 20 to 29 March 2027. We will not invent a crowd or snow percentage. Check the printed school-holiday calendar for your week.

Does a free child lift pass include ski school?

No. Every official page we read prices the lift separately. SMT says lift tickets are not in the course price. Budget the lesson as its own line and confirm a place for that March week.
