## FAQ

**Q: Does the SkiWelt kids-free week cover New Year?**
A: No. FamilienSkiWochen in December stops on 18 Dec 2026. From 19 Dec the high-season 6-day cell is 413.50 EUR adult and 207 EUR for a child born 2011 to 2020. Two adults and two children in that band are 1,241 EUR in lifts. Ski school on top is UNVERIFIED.

**Q: Are French schools back before the Sunday after New Year?**
A: No. Class resumes Monday 4 January 2027, in every zone, including Corse. The dataset was read on 20 October 2026.

**Q: Is there one UK or US school week for New Year?**
A: Not one we can print. GOV.UK says term dates vary. OPM prints Friday 1 January 2027 as the federal holiday, and that is not a district winter break. Northern Ireland schools list 21 December 2026 to 1 January 2027, and a school may still open.
